4to2 Hair conversion tutorial: Part 6 Replacing the GMDCs

Time to open the Simpe again. Do you remember those 3 meshes files from Downloads folder? Click file>open and open the adult one.
There are a lot of lines, but for the adult mesh we need only those four with the "af" part in them. right-click and DELETE all the others, and then hit file>save.
Go to Geometric Data Container and copy whatever's in the filename box (like in the pic below)
Right Click the line in resource list and click "replace"
Keep following the steps of the pics 😅
Ok, now our Adult part of the mesh is ready. Repeat the steps for "Teen" and "Child" of your downloads folder.
In brief
-file>open> Teen (from the hair folder, at Downloads)
-delete all the lines except the four with the tf part in them.
-Go to Geometric Data Container and copy whatever's in the filename box
-right click on line and replace. Find "TeenFemaleChangeling" in current project and select it.
-Click yes in the dialog that will show up
-Paste the name you copied, in the filename box
-hit 'Fix TGI' then hit 'commit' and file>save
The teen part is ready. Let's do the kid's mesh
-file>open> Child(from the hair folder, at Downloads)
-delete all the lines except the four with the cu part in them.
-Go to Geometric Data Container and copy whatever's in the filename box
-right click on line and replace. Find "ChildFemaleChangeling" in current project and select it.
-Click yes in the dialog that will show up
-Paste the name you copied, in the filename box
-hit 'Fix TGI' then hit 'commit' and file>save
With all 3 ages mesh fixed, our next job is to link the texture with the meshes. Hold on guys, we're almost done!
